**Design Consultation**

Your portrait experience commences with this welcoming email, followed by a phone call from one of our Portrait Creative Specialists. During this call, we will collaborate to conceptualize your ideal photo session, allowing you to express your aspirations and share your vision for the photography. We will work together to develop styling concepts that align seamlessly with your preferences.

Our #1 priority on the photoshoot is capturing a variety of
images you absolutely LOVE.

**Mood Board**

A photography moodboard is a great way to explore and communicate the direction for your upcoming shoot. It ensures that we are aligned from the very beginning.

Mood Boards assists in developing a creative vision for the following:

  • Color palette: Choose colors that evoke the desired mood and background .
  • Lighting and atmosphere: Include images that showcase the type of lighting and ambience you envision.
  • Posing and expressions: Help you with poses and facial expressions that align with your concept.
  • Wardrobe and styling: Gather inspiration for clothing, accessories, and overall styling.
  • Hair and makeup: This is a crucial element often overlooked. Ihairstyles and makeup looks that complement your vision.

**Preparing For Your Photoshoot**

Pick Out Your Clothes Early

I’d be thrilled to help you with some fashion advice for your photoshoot. Different shoots have unique themes or lighting setups, and the right clothes can make all the difference in elevating your photos!

To make your photo session a breeze, get your wardrobe ready a few days before. Wash, iron, and take care of anything else you need to avoid any last-minute stress.

Gather Your Props

If you’re using props for your photoshoot make sure to get them together a few days before the shoot. No need to rush and miss out on your session because you can’t find your baseball glove for your senior portraits. 

Know What Happens After The Shoot

You’ll be exhausted but excited after your photo session. Afterward, the first question will likely be, “When will I see my images?”

  • Editing and retouching images in 3-5 business days
  • We’ll have an in-person Reveal Session at our studio or a zoom call in about 5-10 business days after your photoshoot.
  • During the Reveal Session, we’ll help you select your images. You’ll receive everything in your package and can also choose from Wall Art, Canvas, and Prints.
  • Following the Reveal Session, you will receive a link to access your digital images. Should you have chosen to purchase any of our products, your package will be delivered two weeks after the Reveal Session.
  • Once I’ve finished delivering everything and my clients are absolutely thrilled with their finished pieces, I send them a final contract. This contract makes sure that everything is in order and that my work as a photographer is complete.
